Financial Accountant

Are you a fully qualified accountant? Do you have experience working within the world of manufacturing? Do you have strong presentation skills and stakeholder management? Are you an intermediate Excel user?
We are seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join our fantastic international client in a fast-growing, financially profitable enterprise.

As the Financial Accountant, you will oversee the financial accounting portion of the business and have theopportunity to further develop your personal skills while growing with the organization.


Responsibilities:


  • Manage two staff members
  • Ensure compliance with all legal regulators and deadlines
  • Prepare annual statutory accounts including confirmation statement
  • Submit quarterly VAT return
  • Complete P11d's and PSA return annually
  • Offsite accounts assistant for new acquired business
  • Manage accounts payable and assistant accountant
  • Submit monthly results to group
  • Compile annual budgets
  • Responsible for managing annual audit
  • Monitor all balance sheet reconciliations (excluding Inventory)
  • Report monthly variance analysis
  • Prepare monthly cash forecast
  • Work closely with production accountant to calculate annual labour and overhead rates
  • Work towards implementing a new monthly forecasting system in 2023

Requirements:


  • Professional qualification in CIMA/ACCA or equivalent
  • Experience in writing reports
  • Advanced Excel user
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is preferable
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to think creatively and suggest improvements
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills
  • Ability to work well individually and as part of a team
  • Experience managing a finance team
  • Willingness to continue training as required by the business
