Working in partnership with the NHS and local authorities, we are already the UK's largest digital mental health platform for young people aged We are now rapidly expanding into supporting the UK adult population, providing corporate solutions to help build mentally healthy businesses, and expanding internationally.

We are seeking an experienced User Researcher to join our team.


As the Mid User Researcher, you will be responsible for conducting research and utilizing mixed methodologies to gather insights on user needs, behaviours, and motivations.

You will use this information to inform and improve the product design and user experience of our service, as well as contribute to the experience strategy.

You are motivated and confident in hitting the ground running with support from the wider team, working both collaboratively and independently to achieve your research objectives.

Ideally, you will have a safe, flexible and pragmatic approach to user research and be curious about, or have a basic understanding of the science of behavioral change, self-determination theory and motivational interviewing.


What you will do:


User Research:


  • Champion the user voice and advocate for a user centered design process
  • Conduct user research utilizing mixed methodologies such as surveys, interviews, usability testing, diary studies and data analysis
  • Stay uptodate with emerging trends and best practices in user research, and share your knowledge with the broader team

Stakeholder management/Collaboration:

  • Present research findings in an easy to understand and engaging way to various stakeholders and make recommendations for improvements
  • Collaborate with design and product teams to ensure that user insights are incorporated into the product design and development process

Requirements:


  • 2+ years of experience in user research, ideally with some experience in mental health or healthcare products
  • Experience with a variety of user research methods, including qualitative and quantitative research, both generative and evaluative
  • Bachelor's degree or certificate in UX, psychology, humancomputer interaction, or a related field is a plus (not mandatory)
  • Bringing behavioral and observational research to the forefront of our approach, informing good behavioral design.
  • Working alongside product managers and designers to run research projects
