About Us:

PHOENIX Healthcare Distribution is a national full-line pharmaceutical wholesaler with a network of distribution centres nationwide.

We pride ourselves on delivering a high quality supply chain service to our customers, who include pharmacy, GPs, and hospitals.

All of our depots are licensed by the MHRA, and comply with BSI ISO Quality and Environmental standards.

We operate twice daily deliveries from our distribution centres across Monday to Friday and on a Saturday morning, and our local teams are supported by a centralised function team, primarily from our Head Office in Runcorn.


About the opportunity:

We currently have an exciting opportunity within our Supply Chain network for a National Systems Officer.

Reporting to the National Systems Manager, you will be responsible for providing technical support for distribution centres across the UK including PPM and RCA for breakdowns.

You will also be supporting the National Systems Manager in delivering and governing consistency of initiatives / projects / standards relating to automation systems and technicians across the group.


Your duties as National Systems Officer will include:

  • Maintenance and repair of depot automation
  • On call technical support for automated depots
  • Assisting roll out of technical projects and training
  • Ensuring highest automation uptime with minimum breakdowns

Salary
Up to £50,000 dependent on experience

Working pattern is 37.5 hours per week across Monday to Friday

You will have experience of A proven track record of working with automated systems; maintenance of conveyors and machinery within a Warehouse environment.

You will have experience of onsite facilities management and the ability to manage outsourced contracts within agreed service levels.

The main skills and qualifications we are looking for:

  • Ability to role model personal leadership
  • Effective communication and presentation skills
  • High degree of planning and organisation
  • Ability to manage competing priorities
  • Competent in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint
  • Minimum of HNC in Electrical or Engineering qualification
  • Experience in MHE conveyors
  • Experience with barcode reading technology/SCADA systems/PLC
