    Description

    Electronics Engineer

    Type: Full time

    We are seeking a skilled Electronics Engineer to join our team at Powerlink, the leading service partner for satellite communication equipment and systems.

    The successful candidate will have experience in fault diagnosis and repair of electronic systems, ideally with a BSc or HND qualification. They should also have knowledge of safe working practices, power RF/microwave, co-axial and waveguide systems, as well as basic mechanical systems and soldering skills.

    In addition, the ideal candidate will have a good understanding of computers and Windows, excellent listening skills, and a strong telephone manner.

    The role will involve repairing and servicing RF and microwave systems, including satellite communication amplifiers, and providing technical support to customers by telephone.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Repair and service of RF and microwave systems
    • Technical support to customers by telephone
    • Fault diagnosis and repair of electronic systems
    • Documentation of fault-finding processes and production of simple documentation to support other engineers and technicians
