This post is to provide administrative support based at South Lodge, The James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough.


We are a small friendly multidisciplinary team consisting of a Consultant in Occupational Medicine, Specialist Nurses, Occupational Health Advisors, Staff Psychology Wellbeing Practitioner, Occupational Health Technician, Counsellors, Manual Handling Trainers, Specialist Physiotherapists and Administrators.

We are all passionate about ensuring the optimum health and wellbeing of our Trust employees.

We are looking for someone who has

A secretarial / administration qualification e.g. NVQ Level 3 or equivalent

A working knowledge of Microsoft Office including experience of using outlook, word and excel.

Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

Good command of verbal and written English

Experience of working in the NHS or other public sector organisation

Have a good knowledge of office procedures

Working knowledge of Occupational Health Computer System (Cohort) an advantage

Understanding of the role of Occupational Health and standard procedures would be an advantage e.g. clinic arrangements, office procedures, safe records management, access to medical records etc. in accordance with the Data Protection Act and Trust Policies
