£23,045

40 hours per week

Job objectives and responsibilities
-
Work as part of a dedicated team to assist in the smooth running of the Catering department

Main duties
-
Organise and manage personally allocated area of work related to the smooth running of the Kitchen so that the work is completed effectively and efficiently.

When required assist with the storeage of deliverys in the appropriate storage areas.
-
Ensure all foodstuffs are stored and labelled appropatly
-
Assist when required with any preparation of buffets
-
Assist with food preparation and service at meal times.
-
General cleaning duties in line with the cleaning schedule's.
-
Any other reasonable duties requested by the Catering Manager or Duty Chef.

Person Specification
-
Previous relevant experience would be an advantage

Health and Safety responsibilities

Follow Group and company policies and procedures at all times;
Report any apparent deficiencies in systems of work or equipment provided that may result in failure of service delivery or risk to health and safety or the environment;
Use all work equipment and personal PPE properly and in accordance with training received;
Report any issues or training needs to your Line manager and /or via your divisional incident reporting system;

Information Security

Ensure compliance with Mitie's information security procedures in all activities;
Proactively identify and report security risks to your manager;
Report actual and suspected security incidents;
