Description
Responsibilities:
- Assist healthcare professionals in providing care to patients
- Perform basic medical procedures such as taking vital signs and collecting specimens
- Assist with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges
- Maintain patient records and update medical charts
- Ensure a clean and safe environment for patients
- Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families
- Assist with patient mobility and activities of daily living
- Follow infection control protocols and maintain aseptic techniques
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a healthcare assistant or nursing assistant training program is preferred
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Compassionate and empathetic nature
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

Ability to Relocate:
- Sunderland, Tyne and Wear: Relocate before starting work (preferred)
