Description

Responsibilities:

  • Assist healthcare professionals in providing care to patients
  • Perform basic medical procedures such as taking vital signs and collecting specimens
  • Assist with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges
  • Maintain patient records and update medical charts
  • Ensure a clean and safe environment for patients
  • Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families
  • Assist with patient mobility and activities of daily living
  • Follow infection control protocols and maintain aseptic techniques

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of a healthcare assistant or nursing assistant training program is preferred
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting is a plus
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Compassionate and empathetic nature
  • Basic knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

  • Sunderland, Tyne and Wear (preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

  • Sunderland, Tyne and Wear: Relocate before starting work (preferred)
