Description

We are currently recruiting for full-time permanent position open for a
workshop Repair Technician on behalf of our Client in Feltham, TW13 7EJ.

The position of
Service Technician is available with immediate start.

  • Monday till Friday only 8am to 4.30pm (with 1h lunch break),
  • Salary for this position is up to £26,000 + potential for a £1,000 annual bonus for a 37.5 hours week.

Requirements

  • Qualifications/Training:_


Good general standard of education with a minimum of GCSE (or equivalent) Grade C or equivalent in English and Maths, Engineering apprenticeship-Mechanical or Electrical, NVQ qualifications.


  • Experience:_
Repair/service of electro/mechanical equipment (Essential)

  • Skills/Knowledge:_
Microsoft Office (Desirable)
Servicing Petrol engines (Desirable)
Electrical/Electronic service/repair (Essential)
Electric installation
Mechanical plant/equipment servicing (Desirable)
Basic Engineering skills (Essential)

  • Personal/Qualities:_
Positive attitude/outlook
Flexible approach
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Other Relevant Factors:_
Ability to work flexibly to meet the needs of the team.

The ability to work under own initiative and as part of a team to ensure a high level of quality service is maintained to external and internal customers.


KEY TASKS:


  • To be responsible for carrying out fault finding, repairs & servicing tools and products.**:
  • To follow the company Health & Safety, & Environmental policies.**:
  • To ensure a high level of quality, efficiency, and consistency with the repairs & servicing of tools.**:
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement with all department staff.**:
  • To assist colleagues with repairs and servicing on tools.
