I'm currently recruiting for a financial services business based in central London who are looking for a Category Manager to come and join an ever-expanding team.

This role reports directly into and will have a lot of contact with the Head of Vendor Management. You will be working with this individual strategically to drive the business forward.

Salary - £65k + 20% bonus

Hybrid working - 1/2 days a week in the office


Key responsibilities:

  • Research and identify innovative procurement solutions for assigned category
  • Develop category strategies and plans
  • Conduct strategic sourcing initiatives with negotiations
  • Negotiate commercial and contract terms
  • Mitigate contractual risk as identified
  • Work with the internal stakeholders to understand and own risks not mitigated.
  • Monitoring vendor management
  • Business partnering to drive performance
