Role Overview


We are currently recruiting for a Relief Chef to join our passionate and driven Catering team based at our client's site in East Sussex.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Supporting the Operations Manager over a number of developments, offering relief cover as directed.
  • To coordinate and manage all catering and associated services at appointed premises.
  • Food production in line with the company recipes, EDI ordering, completion of all company bookwork, ordering of all supplies and weekly stock control.
  • Menus competitions/planning and promotions.
  • To manage all Catering Team Members to provide the required service at an agreed level.

About You:


  • Previous experience in a similar role and environment would be an advantage.
  • Ideally a professional catering qualification to 706/1 and 2 or equivalent NVQ.
  • Food safety L3 would be an advantage.
  • IT literate.
  • Ability to work within a challenging budget in a fastpaced environment.
  • Enhanced DBS clearance will be required.
