The Role


Tricel is looking for a customer centric Sales Administrator to join the UK Construction team in Tricel Gloucester on a permanent basis.

This person will work in a very dynamic environment across a diverse portfolio of products targeted at B2B as well as B2C.

Reporting to the Sales Manager or designate, this role will carry out a range of administration tasks to support the sales team with the overall aim of driving business levels.


Responsibilities

  • Manage order processing from checking stock levels, data entry, through to processing and customer follow up
  • Liaising with logistics to organise shipments within customer expectations
  • Quickly gaining a detailed understanding of the Company services and product offerings will be essential
  • Assist customers by answering product and service questions; suggesting information about other products and services.
  • Resolve product or service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint; determining the cause of the problem; working with Quality to select the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction; following up to ensure resolution.
  • Contribute to individual, team and department sales objectives
  • Proactively engaging with customers to identify areas of growth for the business, as well as engaging customers on CSAT
  • Accurately maintain and update CRM system as required
  • Organise and arrange meetings with customers
  • Ad hoc Office Administration as required by the business
  • Support other members of the Sales & Administration Team.

Key Skills and Experience

  • 12 years' experience in a Customer service/ Support or Administration role.
  • Excellent interpersonal/Communication Skills with friendly but professional manner.
  • Excellent multitasking, organisational, written and verbal communication are essential.
  • Hands on experience with MS Office (MS Excel in particular).
  • Ability to work under strict deadlines and prioritise workload.
  • Capability to work on your own initiative.
  • Resilience ability to work under pressure while maintaining quality and standard of work.
  • Experience in a Manufacturing background would be beneficial.
  • Experience in ERP systems would be beneficial
