Software Engineer, Developer - Java, Kotlin, Spring, Swagger, CI/CD

Contract - 12 months

Rate - £580 per Day - Inside IR35

East London Offices


One of the world's most progressive engineering and manufacturing companies and a household name is seeking a Software Engineer, Software Developer for their Enterprise Connectivity team.

The Software Engineer will work with experienced team members, usinga user centric design approach to bring new products and features to market in the connected consumer and mobility space.


Main Tasks & Responsibilities & Essential Skills

Software Engineer, Software Developer - Java, Kotlin, Spring, Swagger, CI/CD
> 5 Years+ Java Software Engineering experience

> Extensive software development experience in one or more JVM languages (e.g. Java, Kotlin, Groovy) across multiple projects

> Spring and Spring Boot Framework experience

> Experience in designing and developing REST APIs using company standard tools such as Swagger, Apigee and 42Crunch

> Proven track record of delivery as a software engineer

> Ability to tackle complex software engineering problems

> Passion for Software Craftsmanship, and experience working in a pair programming environment

> Strong all-round communication skills (written / presentation, one-to-one / group)

> Ability to take the initiative and operate with autonomy to prioritise work

> DevOps experience, as part of the role typically involves CI/CD pipeline maintenance

> Experience of Google Cloud Platform - GCP

> Collaborative with a passion for building inclusive team cultures


Desirable (not essential) Skills & Experience

Experience with Software Development tools (Backlog Management (Pivotal Tracker), Source Code
