Fire alarm (& emergency light) engineer
Location:
Wakefield. Working in surrounding areas/cities
The Company:
Well established fire safety company specialising in fire safety (installation and design), electrical services and servicing fire extinguishers
Package:
- Basic pay of £30,000+
- Overtime paid at time and a half
- Financial perks such as bonuses and annual bonuses
- Only required to be on callout 6/7 weeks of the year
- Commission earned per callout
- Company van provided with personal use allowed
- 4 weeks' holiday allowance (plus bank holidays) rising to 5 weeks with length of service
Main Responsibilities:
- Happy to train on install/servicing fire extinguishers
- Installation and servicing of fire alarm systems
- Installation and servicing of emergency lights
- Be part of a callout rota
Knowledge and experience:
- Experience installing and servicing fire alarm systems both addressable and conventional (essential)
- Must have experience of larger manufacturers
- Experience servicing emergency lights (essential)
- Some experience working with fire extinguishers would be desirable but not required
