Enforcement Officer (Environmental Protection)
Fixed Term Contract/ Secondment 4 Years (FTC due to Funding)


We are a Living Wage Employer, and all our roles will be paid as such where the pay scales are below the Living Wage rate.
Working 36.5 hours per week

An interesting job opportunity has arisen within Birmingham City Council's Environmental Protection team (Environmental Health).

Driving license and own vehicle is essential due to the nature of the role.


The service has moved to a more agile model way of working and as such the role will involve mobile working from an administrative base situated on the city centre ring road.

It is expected that the post holder will spend at least half their week in the office to oversee the running of the acoustic laboratory.

This post is funded for four years.
