Description
This position would suit someone with some experience in a similar role. The hours will be 22 hours per week.

Responsibility will be collating the monthly payroll for around 190 staff and undertaking payroll function in a timely and accurate fashion - software used is SAGE 50 PAYROLL

Duties will include checking and inputting hours from manual clocking cards.

Processing starters, leavers, contract variations, and tax code changes.

Processing Job offer letters and new contracts.

Calculations of and processing - SMP, SSP, SPP, SPL, etc

Calculate Holiday pay

Calculate week-in-hand, week-in-hand refunds

Processing New Starter checklist and P45's

Monthly wage payments -direct transfers to employee's bank accounts

Processing monthly HMRC Payments and Pension payment

Administer pension scheme - currently NOW PENSION scheme is in use

Administer attachments to earnings orders

Year end procedures and P60's

Answer staff queries about wages, deductions,attendance, and time records

Payroll reconciliations

Enter monthly payroll journal to Sage Line 50


The role will suit a dynamic committed person to execute a challenging role in the implementation and completion of payroll operation.
