Looking for an
Unqualified Nursery Assistant (Secondary Key Carer) for this small family run nursery, in Wimbledon postcode area, SW19, to support the Primary Key Carers in the nursery.

Job Specification for an Unqualified Nursery Assistant:

Hours of work are either full time or part time, working Monday to Friday between 20 and 40 hours per week.
Immediate Start.
Situated in the Chiswick (West) postcode area of Greater London, close to train station and local bus routes.
Salary ranging from £24,000 pa and up to £30,000 pa, depending upon role, hours, previous knowledge and experience in a nursery setting.
You must be passionate about childcare, and have a strong, positive attitude towards working with children. If you do have previous nursery/school experience this is an advantage.

Unqualified Nursery Assistant Role Responsibilities:

Implement Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)

Curriculum:
Planning and delivering a programme of activity for children in the nursery.

Building Relationships: Foster connections with children and their families and careproviders.
Safety and Welfare: Maintain health & safety standards and diligently follow safeguarding procedures.

Person Specification:

Unqualified Nursery Assistant with some previous childcare experience (NOT OWN CHILD)
Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment
Knowledge: Some understanding of Early Years Foundation Stage, safeguarding, and health and safety.
Communication Skills: Able to liaise and develop relationships with parents, carers and local authorities.
Experience: Working with various aged children in a nursery, preschool or school setting.
