Are you an experienced Early Years Teaching Assistant based in Hulme, Manchester or the surrounding areas with experience in teaching phonics and interventions?

I am currently recruiting for a nursery based in Hulme who is seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant with knowledge of the EYFS curriculum.

The post is to start after February half term and will finish at Easter with potential to go permanent if you arethe right fit for the school.

As a Nursery Teaching Assistant, we expect you to be an outstanding member of staff, so we expect the following:

  • Hold relevant Teaching Assistant qualifications minimum Level
  • Have experience working within EYFS.
  • Led interventions in small groups and 12
  • Familiar with teaching phonics.
  • Be confident with the curriculum.
  • Confident with behavioural strategies.
  • Provide quality support to teachers and to pupils.
  • Be able to carry out small group work and work with individuals under the teachers planning provided.
  • Can think on your feet.
  • Hold a DBS on the update service
