Loughborough University is highly regarded for the quality of student services and support it provides for students and graduates.

Based within the University's Careers Network, our Academic Success Coaching team form a part of the Student Success Academy:
a team dedicated to wrap-around support for students at each stage of the student lifecycle.

Young people from underrepresented and minority ethnic backgrounds face inequalities in education, and in access to work opportunities, which can define their life chances.


The Student Success Academy is designed to address this problem, tackling barriers and challenges which persist throughout the student lifecycle - before Loughborough, at Loughborough, and after graduation.


As an integral part of the Student Success Academy, our Academic Success Coaching team bring together a holistic programme of Coaching, both 1:1, in group settings, and tailored to individual student needs to enable our students to achieve their full potential and overcome any barriers they face with regards to academic study.


We are looking for a creative and innovative individual, with a passion and interest in Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion, to join our team as our new Academic Success Coordinator.

In this role, you will continue to develop and build on the success of our Coaching provision to date, working in collaboration with Academic colleagues, Library and Academic Language Support Services to provide coordination for a specialist and tailored portfolio of coaching and personal skills development support for students to succeed academically, significantly contributing to an enhanced student experience, positive graduate outcomes and Access and Participation Plan (APP) targets.

You will provide operational management for a small team, including day-to-day line management of Student Success Project Officers, and the monitoring of key KPIs and targets.
