An opportunity has arisen to join the Finance Business Partnering Team in the role of Specialist, supporting a range of Council service areas in managing their financial responsibilities.

This will include supporting and developing established processes, budget monitoring, financial planning, accounts closure, etc. as well as providing financial advice and support to the Council's fast paced transformation agenda. The post reports directly to the Finance Business Partnering Accountant within a team of nine people.


The post is essential to the effective financial management of the Council, particularly at a time of change and development for both the Council and the North Lincolnshire area, both financially and structurally.

While supporting and co-ordinating some of the main financial processes within the Council, the Team are focusing more and more on developmental/transformational issues and this post is essential to that evolution, working hand in hand with Services to ensure value for money and sustainable outcomes are achieved in all that we do.
