As part of our expansion and growth of the Finance Team at the St Austell Family Group, we are seeking an experienced Finance Operations Team Leader to join our already experienced team.


As a Finance Operations Team Leader, you will take a key role in managing operational and transactional finance teams and drive forward efficiencies within Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.

We are looking for an experienced people manager who is able to inspire and lead at the ground level.


The Role

  • Oversee the daytoday operating functions within one of more of the Finance Operations Admin teams (Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable)
  • Lead and develop team members to ensure individual and team objectives are set and met in an efficient and effective manner
  • Promote a culture of high quality within the team, ensuring customers are treated fairly
  • Provide an initial point of escalation for customer queries or matters arising within the team
  • Prioritising resources and daily task completion based on business need taking in to account external risks and seasonality
  • Help maintain a culture of positive change through process improvement and identification of opportunities to improve customer experience

About You

  • Good communicator with strong attention to detail

  • Problem solver and inquisitive
  • Previous experience of people management
  • Experience within Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable
  • Experience of managing an admin functions
  • Great Customer Service skills
