Contracts Manager - £30K - East Sussex

Permanent / Hybrid role


This well-established travel business is looking for someone to join them to manage the sourcing of suppliers within a designated geographical area.


Contracts Manager - What will I be doing?

  • Identify and source suitable suppliers and products / services
  • Negotiate market leading rates or exclusive deals with key suppliers
  • Ensure all suppliers are recontracted as appropriate within set deadlines
  • Monitor performance of your geographical areas of responsibility
  • Ensure all suppliers adhere to robust health and safety policies and SLA's
  • Work with pricing & sales teams to maximise sales and profit growth

Contracts Manager - What experience do I need?

  • Experience working as either a junior buyer, senior purchasing executive, contracts executive or commercial role (2 years desirable)
  • Excellent communication, influencing and interpersonal skills
  • Experience of working in a busy environment, demonstrate ability to prioritise and manage time effectively
  • Evidence of multitasking whilst maintaining attention to detail
  • Ability to develop close working relationships with suppliers

Contracts Manager - what else do I need to know?
This role requires someone who is passionate about customer satisfaction and driven to create successful long-term commercial supplier relationships.

They have lovely offices on the Sussex Coast and for the first 3 months it is essential that you work fulltime from these offices - after 3 months the role will be hybrid.
