A rare and exciting opportunity to join a growing team supporting the Wellbeing of Police Officers and Staff.


The Wellbeing Co-ordinator is responsible for the implementation and management of the proactive wellbeing services with particular focus on improving personal resilience, trauma impact prevention and mental health.


The core services for coordination are TRiM (Trauma Response Management), Oscar Kilo Peer Support Programme (National Police Wellbeing Framework), and TIPT (Trauma Impact Prevention Techniques).


The role will look to develop further interventions and tools to support the implementation of a single point of access (SPA) and triage model for a comprehensive health and wellbeing service across the Force, and new initiatives are likely to emerge over time.

The primary purpose is to coordinate these programmes, including their development, administration, promotion and quality assurance. The role holder will be an initial point of contact for triage to appropriate services. The role will work closely with our Wellbeing Advisor offering in the moment support and signposting.

As such a broad understanding of common causes of mental ill health in blue light services and a supportive and approachable manner are essential.

£31,434.00-£33,348.00 per year
