Job Introduction


Reporting to the Inventory Team Leader the main purpose of the job is to ensure that stock levels held at various satellite locations throughout the Company agree with levels recorded on the Company's inventory system, and to investigate, adjust and inform the Inventory Team Leader of discrepancies as necessary.


Depending on experience, you may initially be appointed at a lower salary until all relevant courses and training are complete.


If you are offered a position, you will be required to successfully complete a basic DBS check that shows any unspent convictions or conditional cautions.

Main Responsibilities

  • Delivery of work programme to meet our audit & regulatory requirements
  • Capability to organise work and manage conflicting priorities
  • Reconciliation and investigations of stock differences
  • Reporting stock discrepancies and providing solutions
  • Organising and prioritising work schedules
  • Compiling and completing reports
  • Safe handling of materials ensuring personal safety at all times
  • Maintaining and inputting data within E
  • Carry out routine spot checks
  • Working closely with local Satellite Stores Minders
You will be able to work under pressure to meet set targets and deadlines.

There is a requirement to work alone and under your own initiative however, as part of a bigger team, you must also be a good team player.

In addition you must have the ability to communicate effectively. Possession of a full driving licence is required as well as a good educational background.
