My client is a Central London multi academy trust, with their schools across the South and South East of London.

A vacancy has arisen within their central finance team for a Finance Business Partner, to work closely with small cluster of schools to provideinsightful budget monitoring and planning service for the senior leadership teams at each site.

The main duties will include the preparation and management of ongoing school budgets, to include cyclical reporting and variance analysis on short and medium term financial plans for each academy.

You'll also ensure that each school remains financially compliantwith all internal procedures, providing advice and guidance to senior staff and budget holders within the cluster on all finance matters.

Working closely with the Head at each school, you'll act as a genuine business partner, helping to guide on the courseof action for ad hoc projects as well as on procurement and ensuring value for money on all spend.

At a trust level, you'll support the ongoing monthly accounting, to include accruals and prepayments, bank reconciliations and the production of several standaloneand group level financial KPI reports.

Applications are sought from formally qualified or part qualified accountants, with previous experience of commercial finance and / or business partnering across a sizeable organisation.

Education sector experience would be a huge benefit, but those with experiencefrom other multi site commercial sectors are welcomed. Naturally, you'll possess good influencing and communication skills, with good data manipulation and excel reporting experience.
The role is offered as 4 days on site in central London and one day workingfrom home.
