Reed Education are seeking a
Behaviour Room Manager to provide support in an
Internal Exclusion room at a
Secondary School in the
Salford area.
5 days per week, from
08:00-16:00. This role is starting as soon as possible and is on a
permanent basis.
The school is a large secondary academy that is part of a larger multi academy trust.
They are currently going through a period of change so are looking for someone who can adapt to the changing environment around them whilst ensuring that the standard ofteaching and learning is maintained.
Key duties of the role:
- Work as part of the Pastoral team and support the operation of the Internal exclusion rooms.
- Work in collaboration with the SLT behaviour team to secure that the Exclusion provision is supervised and operational at all times
- Assist and support children displaying challenging behaviour and work with the inclusion team to help reach the aims of the inclusion Team
- Run bespoke intervention sessions to support children in their engagement and integration with the the school and academy values
- Help, support and encourage children in order to promote their self esteem and confidence
- Liaise with the schools SEND department to ensure all pupils' needs appropriately supported
