NH Care - runs a 4 bedded Children's Home in Handsworth and is now recruiting staff to full a number of vacancies in this home, alongside other homes based in Edgbaston and South Birmingham

The homes will work with complex young people who can display challenging behaviours.

although experience in the Residential Child Care Sector is desirable, staff with relevant transferable experience, which includes life experience or raising a family, will be considered.

We are looking for applicants who primarily can demonstrate a passion around working with children and young people, have enthusiasm and energy, have resilience and can work as part of a team.

We also have a number Senior Positions for more experienced staff

All applicants will be given an initial informal telephone interview before attending a formal interview.

You will be provided with a full induction and put on your Level 4 Diploma.

Part-time hours: 37.5 per week

£10.00-£12.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

Education:

• GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:

Residential Childcare: 1 year (preferred)
Support Environment: 1 year (preferred)


Licence/Certification:

• NVQ Level 2 Health & Social Care (preferred)
