Medical Records Clerk

If you an experienced Administrator with a customer focused approach then we could have just the role for you.


We are looking for a Medical records clerk to join our welcoming and diverse Administration team based at our Gillingham site.


About the Role


You will be a vital member of the team, delivering an efficient administrative service for NHS, private and inter-provider patient transfers from third party providers; supported by our experienced Administration Manager, Claire.


This will include ensuring documentation is kept up to date and liaising with other providers and the wider team at the hospital.

You will also take responsibility for booking pre-assessment appointments.

Accurately preparing patient records for Outpatient clinic, Wards and Review clinics within set deadlines and timescales

Ensuring that relevant information, investigation results and x-rays are always available prior to patients attendance and are prepared in accordance to standards set

Liaising with all staff and patients in relation to the availability of medical records with confidence, professionalism and diplomacy


About You:


Who we're looking for


Someone with recent and relevant experience, who has excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to work under pressure.

Just as important though is your flexibility, belief in teamwork and your ability to use your initiative, follow instructions and prioritise a busy workload

  • Experience in an Administration environment
