Automotive Technical Advisor, you'll play a key part to our success and join us on this exciting motoring journey.
This is the job:
Joining the AA as a Technical Support Specialist, you will play a key role in coordinating and resolving technical queries in an efficient and timely manner.
What will I be doing?:
- Understanding and diagnosing of technical mechanical problems and translating findings to customers
- Communicate effectively with technical suppliers and customers
- Audit quotes ensuring delivery time, price, and quality adhere to documented process and procedures.
- Managing technical interfaces with stakeholders including garage dealers, customers, and network garages.
- Build effective relations with part suppliers and garages to obtain best quotes for customers
- Ensuring recommended works are required and positioned into the correct repairer
- Support the management of escalated technical complaints
- Create, and file accurate technical reports as required
- Use a range of inhouse and external electronic interfaces to order parts and information databases to obtain technical work times.
What do I need?:
Capability, Knowledge and Experience:
- Proven track record of vehicle maintenance
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work within a target orientated environment
- Experience of complaint handling
Education and Qualifications:
- Mechanical (Automotive) at least a NVQ level 3 light vehicle maintenance and repair qualification.
