My Name is Yvonne Robinson and I am the Team Manager for the Wakefield Intensive Home Based treatment team. Due to promotion within the team, we currently have a vacancy for a band 6 practitioner.

In addition, we also have an opportunity to see if Intensive Home Based Treatment is for you with 2 fixed term contracts to cover maternity leave (1x 9 months and 1x 12 months).

You would be working in a multi-disciplinary team of mental health professionals which currently consists of Social Workers, Nurses, Medical Practitioners, Psychologist, Trauma Informed Personality Disorder Practitioner, Non medical prescriber as well as Health care support staff and Admin; we deliver evidence-based assessment, support and interventions to adults experiencing crises in their mental health and well-being.

The team operates within the whole system of adult mental health services, and is the single referral point for people in crisis, offering assessment and the provision of intensive home-based treatment for those for whom hospital admission would otherwise be necessary.

The focus is on a psycho-social approach promoting recovery and social inclusion.
