Our client is a stalwart of the UK Removals and Storage Industry. A multi-branch, long term BAR member with a great reputation for quality.

They are now looking for an International Move Coordinator to join their team in Surrey.


You will be reporting directly to the General Manager, working as part of a team to handle moves to and from the UK internationally.

This includes, quoting, booking, and managing the moves with different suppliers, shipping lines and removals companies all over the globe.

The working hours are Monday - Friday, 9am - 5:30pm.

After the probationary period and full training is complete, there may be an option for the role to become hybrid with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.


Main Purpose of Job:

To ensure prompt action is taken on some International enquiries generated including:

  • Receive initial call or account instructions and arrange surveys and appointments within company KPI.
  • Giving clients and branches information on International moves.
  • Submission of quotations, confirmation of quotes, instruction sheets and booking of international consignments at all stages of the move.
  • To effectively service International enquires including costing and 3rd country moves.
  • Coordination with overseas agents and shipping lines and account coordinators
  • Maximise all opportunities for additional revenue or reduce costs wherever possible.

Duties & responsibilities:

To use the skills of word processing and typing in order to effectively carry out many of the duties listed:

  • Use of photocopier, fax, and computer.
  • Receive and action incoming telephone calls.
  • Process mail received and action as required.
  • Processing customer payments and acceptance forms.
  • Scheduling appointments for sales staff.
  • Prepare quotations and instruction sheets based on sales reports and other available information.
  • Typing of letters, memos, and reports.
  • Input into computer database of customers details and link up with the overall database.
  • Filing duties as required.
  • Ensure compliance of oneself with the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 197
  • Any other duties as may reasonably requested by the Management.
  • Ensure compliance of oneself with requirements of ISO9002.

Salary:
£30,000.00 per year
