PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
- Administer a portfolio of insolvency appointments, both corporate and personal, under the supervision of a Manager and Partner.
- Meet all statutory deadlines and progress portfolio in a timely manner
- An ability to manage own workloads to meet demands and communicate openly with progress on portfolio with stakeholders
- Communicate with directors, debtors, creditors and introducers both verbally and written
- Bank statement analysis
- Attend interviews of directors/debtors
- Support the Firm's external networking occasionally and attend functions with clients.
- Seeks to increase own technical knowledge by attending courses, reading material and joining meetings along with "on the job" training
- Proactive in seeking assistance and asking questions where required
- Prepared to 'have a go' and undertake work even if not encountered before
- Actively and consistently seeks out opportunities for more work
- Provides, ideas, suggestions and feedback within group discussion
- Prepared to question the norm; seek to add value to customary thinking
- Looks for opportunities to improve systems and processes
- Support the Firm's external networking, attending functions with clients occasionally
- Conduct research into possible new appointments, assisting officeholders
- Proactively demonstrate the firms attributes and identify possible opportunities for new work
- Reads and learns about wider insolvency industry related issues
- To engage politely and confidently with clients
- Show commitment to clients and maintaining the Firm's relationships
- Portray an image of confidence and professionalism
- Supports Firm's client / introducer events on occasion
- Ensures all statutory deadlines are met with the assistance of Managers and training
- Experience of working in a professional environment in a similar role
- A keen attention to detail and diligence in their work
- An understanding of insolvency principles and a desire to work in the corporate recovery sector
- Excellent organisation and communication skills are essential (both written and verbal).
- Advanced MS Excel and Word skills
- An active team player
- Motivated, enthusiastic and willing to learn
- Ability to manage own workloads and drive to completion
- Ability to prioritise work and meeting deadlines
