Description

A major global law firm is hiring a Conflicts Analyst to support their team on a remote working basis.

The purpose of this role is to support the firm in assessing new clients and matters from a conflicts and compliance point of view.

You will need to have prior experience in conflicts of interest, as well as confident communication skills, analytical skills, and commercial awareness.

Experience in Intapp Open would be beneficial but not essential.

The responsibilities of this role will include:

Reviewing and researching new business intake requests for potential conflicts
Adding and analysing data in the conflicts system according to the firm's procedures
Carrying out research to establish corporate structures
Ensuring all conflicts checks are completed and accurate
Conducting AML due diligence for existing clients
Identifying sanctions, reputational issues, and legal and commercial conflicts
Escalating conflicts when necessary
Contributing to updates and improvements to policies and procedures
Identifying and resolving confidential information issues, implementing information barriers and document security processes
Reviewing engagement letters, outside counsel terms, and engagement terms
Ad hoc project support
