The ideal person would be highly motivated, enthusiastic and hardworking with excellent communication skills and and will enjoy being the face of the practice, always making sure patients are cared for from the moment they contact us.

As a dental receptionist you will be required to:

• Have a good standard of general education
• Excellent communication skills, confidence and a good telephone manner
• Always be friendly, helpful and courteous
• Demonstrate a high attention to detail with excellent organisational skills
• Be highly motivated, flexible, and reliable
• Be approachable and a good team player
• Take pride in your appearance and be well presented
• Experienced in dealing with the public

This is a part-time position of 16 hours per week: 9am-6pm Monday & Tuesday with 1 hour for lunch.

There is a requirement to work an occasional Saturday (9am -1.30pm) and a flexibility to work additional days to cover annual leave would be sought.

We will provide full training to the successful applicant.

After a probationary period, a permanent contract will be offered which will include the benefits of free Dental Care, Company Pension and Holiday Pay (pro rata).

• GCSE or equivalent (required)

Experience:

• Receptionist: 1 year (required)
