Newstaff Employment Services is recruiting for a Lettings Negotiator in Willesden Green, Greater London.

Our client is a large and successful property management company based in London.


Lettings Negotiator in Willesden Green:


General tasks to include:


  • Accompanied viewings with prospective tenants
  • Coordinating moveins from collating the references
  • Preparing movein paperwork
  • Ensuring the property is ready for tenants to move in
  • Undertake general administrative support duties
  • Keeping the website and external advertising website updated
  • Add words to Google search
  • Dealing and replying to reviews
  • Twitter and blogging via the website
  • Keeping a log of all the 'For Let' boards and checking them regularly
  • Keeping the Office Window Display updated
  • Finding ways to advertise other than websites

Properties:


  • Visiting the property when tenants give their notice to vacate
  • Report back any maintenance issues or what in your opinion needs to be done
  • Check the state of the communal and frontages of the property report back
  • Measure the rooms and arrange floorplans via a website
  • Take photos of rooms and exteriors once it's presentable
  • Do video tours to be sent to oversea applicants
  • Running errands i.e., key cutters, post office etc
  • Charging up electric keys and gas cards when needed
  • Dropping off agents' keys
  • Meeting agents for valuations
  • CCJ checks and Land registry (when necessary)
  • Quarterly property inspections/licencing inspections
  • Assisting others when lettings are quiet
  • Ensuring the car is presentable (trips to the car wash)
  • Covering when other members of staff are on holiday

  • Responsible attitude to work and demonstrate attention to detail.
  • Organisation and time management skills
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • The ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team is a must
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Highly motivated, excellent communication skills

Additional information:


  • Working inhouse for a large private landlord
  • Monday to Friday (9 am 6 pm) office is closed between 1 pm 2 pm for lunch
Saturday fortnightly (9.30 am to 1.30 pm)

  • 20 days annual holiday
  • Basic salary from £18,500 pa upwards + commission
