ABP Food Group is a food business that specialises in the supply and development, producing award-winning British and Irish beef and lamb products for retail, foodservice and wholesale.

ABP Langport is part of the ABP UK division within the ABP Food Group aiming to provide quality beef to thousands of customers across the world.

Role definition:


  • To coordinate and complete all tasks associated with Exports related to the site and cold store in accordance with current legislation.
  • To ensure all costs relating to exports are accounted for and recharges are completed where necessary.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Coordinate all exports with customers and hauliers/vets to ensure all is planned in a timely manner and is cost effective.
  • Complete all paperwork for any exported loads related to site and cold store.
  • Liaise with Veterinary and check all Health Certificates produced to ensure compliance with current legislation.
  • Accountable for all export invoice checks to ensure all are correct and protect business profitability.
  • Accountable for all recharges relating to exports to ensure correct amounts are captured where necessary.
  • Liaise with business on all export requirements and ensure business needs are met.
  • Work with Logistics Manager to ensure haulier pool used is cost effective.
  • Work with Group exports team on any queries and joint exports.

Knowledge and Experience:


  • Proven ability to multitask and coordinate various exports/tasks with successful outcomes.
  • Must have a valid driving license and be able to travel to different locations if required.
  • Proven ability to build relationships across multiple functions with successful results.
  • Attention to detail and proven MS (Excel) skills.
  • Responsible for Exports budgets including transport, Vets and customs costs to ensure maximum profitability for the business.

Schedule:

Day Shift
Monday to Friday

7:30am to 4:30pm

45 hours per week


Reporting to:
Logistics and Purchasing Manager


Rate:
£28,000 - £30,000 depending on experience
