A unique opportunity has now arisen for an IT Cluster Technician to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis.

The Role

As an IT Cluster Technician, you will oversee the smooth running of our ICT systems, supporting our academies in the Bristol area.

Specifically, you will ensure effective use of ICT by staff and students over several sites and help improve their understanding of the technology through classroom-based support.

Supporting our teaching and learning through the maintenance of computer hardware, software, peripherals, you will set up PCs for operation and support management of the Windows 10 operating system.

You will also detect, diagnose and resolve software and hardware problems and provide server and network support.

About You
To be considered as an IT Cluster Technician, you will need:

  • An IT technical background
  • Strong knowledge of Windows 10 and basic Windows Server 2008/12 administration
  • An enthusiastic approach to customer service
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Sound problem analysis and problemsolving skills

Experience of working with Audio Visual Equipment would also be advantageous, as would experience of an IT service in an educational setting.

This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act and therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
