Digital Products Manager - Temporary (Maternity Cover)

Location:
Poole (Remote working) Could be required to travel to main office twice per month


Starting Salary:
Up to £30,000 DOE


Hours:
Monday to Thursday - Between 8am - 6pm, Friday between 8am-5pm

The Role of the Digital Products Manager:

  • To develop and manage new and existing digital insurance products strategies in support of the business's strategic aims.
  • The role has a project management, development and operational focus utilising the Company's software platform solutions, ensuring customer centric products are delivered in line with the business project brief.
  • Work in close partnership with senior management to prepare and implement Digital Insurance Product solutions
  • Work in conjunction with our software partners to develop and maintain bespoke insurance scheme solutions
  • Manage internal and external Developers to ensure quality and consistent delivery in line with project requirements
  • Work closely with Project Management on project deliveries ensuring blockers are raised and lead on the resolution
  • Have an understanding of automation workflows to ensure Marketing, Sales and Customer experience is maximised
  • Be a strong decision maker with exceptional organisation skills
  • Manage changing priorities ensuring the team remain focused on businesscritical tasks.
  • Other duties as directed by Line Manager
  • Promote, support, and endorse the company's Mission and Values
  • Ensure all digital product user experience is simple and straightforward, allowing customers to identify their requirements as quickly and easily as possible
  • At all times ensure the fair treatment of Customers is made the priority and, in respect of all business activities undertaken, that the principles of Treating Customers Fairly are actively considered and acted upon.

Needed for the Role of the Digital Products Manager:

  • Work in partnership with business leaders to research and design a consistent product development and implementation procedure
  • Manage, review, develop and coach a team of Digital Product Developers, ensuring that objectives are aligned, performance metrics are set, communicated and reviewed and that individual performance reviews are carried out
  • Lead and inspire team through clear direction, positive and active communication and engagement
  • Ability to build strong relationships with external third parties
  • Support managers and team leaders on all digital product matters
