Job Duties:
This is an exciting opportunity to join Hertfordshire's Shared Internal Audit Service. The vision is to provide a leading-edge internal audit service to our seven local authority partners and external clients.
Having recently adopted a 'grow your own strategy', we are looking to appoint an Assistant Client Audit Manager to help develop our extremely talented trainees and Auditors, as well as developing your own skills and experience to develop into one of ourfuture Client Audit Managers.
As a key role within our management team, you will support one of our Client Audit Managers in delivering the end-to-end audit service for up to two of our Partners.
This will include supervising audits, client liaison, performance reporting, covering (whererequired) for the Audit Manager at Audit Committees and Senior Management meetings and undertaking several high-profile audit reviews of your own.
This is challenging but extremely rewarding role, no day will be the same and you will be working closely with our team of Trainees, Auditors and Senior Auditors to help them deliver their allocation of audits to our Partners.
As a Council we have fully adopted a hybrid working model, therefore your week can be balanced between office attendance and remote working to allow you to achieve the right work life balance.

English Fluency:
The ability to converse at ease with members of the public and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post (for those whose language is a signed language the provision of a sign language interpreterwho speaks English to the necessary standard of fluency will be required).
