We are looking for an Assistant Information Systems Business Partner to join our growing Business Systems team.

You will work closely with colleagues within our Group IT function and our Business teams to align technology solutions with Howden's strategic objectives.

This role is a permanent, full-time opportunity.

Please also note this role is London-based and you are expected to be in the office on average 4 days per week.


  • Role Responsibilities:
  • Stakeholder Management
  • Act as a liaison between the Business Systems team and various business areas within Howden.
  • Conduct thorough discussions with stakeholders to comprehend their business objectives, challenges, and technologyrelated needs.
  • Collaborate closely with endusers, managers, and department heads to identify opportunities for leveraging information systems to streamline processes and enhance overall efficiency.
  • Projects
  • Participate actively in project meetings, ensuring a clear understanding of project objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Take ownership of assigned tasks and actions related to business systems, overseeing their completion within specified timelines.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure seamless integration of business systems into ongoing projects.
  • Oversee the entire lifecycle of business systems projects from initiation to completion.
  • Manage transition of projects into BAU.
  • Reporting
  • Generate comprehensive monthly reports detailing the progress of active projects. Highlight key milestones achieved, potential risks identified, and upcoming project activities.
  • Present project updates during Business Systems and IT Service review meetings
  • Assist with internal audit reviews and UAR's where required
  • Role Requirements:
  • Proven experience taking ownership of business systems related projects and seeing them to completion. You must be able to provide clear evidence of effective stakeholder management and excellent cross
  • functional communication as part of these projects.
  • Exposure to policy admin systems or a similar type of insurance software technology
  • London Market experience is desirable
  • Strong MS Suite knowledge (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
