Pay Rate:
£25, Any Shift Premium + Any Overtime

Contract Type:
Permanent (Full-Time)

Shift patterns:
Monday - Friday shift pattern, some Saturday's are required - Start time is 5am.

Location:
Ipswich (IP1 5NX)

DHL, an award winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Drivers Mate to play a vital role in our daily distribution requirements.

To succeed in this role, you should be familiar with all Manual Handling Procedures, with a committed attitude to Continuous Improvement, ultimately ensuring that all order deliveries are handled safely and in a timely manner.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?
As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices plus a high level of customer service, you will

Handling alcoholic goods
Delivering multiple drops per day to Pubs, Restaurants, and Hotels up to 20 drops per day
Manual Handling up to 11 tonne of stock per day

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

Previous practical experience as a Drivers Mate, within a logistics or similar environment.
Previous experience of the preparation, distribution and handling of volume orders.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage your own workload.

A recognised qualification in Manual Handling or Logistics will be well received.
