The world we operate in is moving faster than ever before.

Needs, expectations and behaviours are changing and at Nationwide we openly put the changing needs of our 15 million customers at the centre of every decision we make as a business.

The People Function in Nationwide is at the heart of this, delivering initiatives and change that support achieving our purpose - Banking, but fairer and more rewarding, and for the good of society - and delivery of our Blueprint for a modern mutual.

We have an exciting opportunity to join our People Consultancy and Change team as a Jira Systems Consultant. This role will contribute directly to transforming our workforce at Nationwide and is a 12 month Secondment / FTC.

The People Consultancy and change team formed in May 2023, bringing together HR Business Partnering and people change delivery.

As we face into a world of work that is changing at an ever increasing pace the team has a unique opportunity to partner with the business to drive change through in the right way for our customer and colleagues.

At the heart of this is understanding our portfolio of work, its complexity and being able to prioritise and resource it effectively.

This role will be instrumental in supporting the team with this, supporting the ongoing evolution of our ways of working, supporting the embedding of tools that have been recently introduced to manage workflow and helping us visualise and prioritise how we are using our capacity and capabilities within the team.

At Nationwide we offer hybrid working wherever possible.

More rewarding relationships are supported through our hybrid approach, bringing colleagues together across our UK wide estate, whilst also supporting generous access to home working.

We value our time in the office to solve problems, to learn, and to feel connected.

You will work with other SME's in the People Function to problem solve where tools or processes for managing our portfolio of work need re-thinking.

You will take the lead on how we report on the data captured via our workflow tool and develop reporting that draws insight from the portfolio of work we deliver for Nationwide.
