Job Title/Location:Administrator, Southampton & WFH

Salary:£20,000 - £25,000

Office/WFH: 1-2 days WFH some weeks, other weeks fully office-based (will consider full-time and part-time).

Requirements: Recent administration experience within Financial Services, Banking or Insurance.


The Company/Dept:

You will be working for a long-established Mortgage Broker who has a solid, respected reputation in the market and will also be working alongside another Broker and a fellow support colleague.


The Role:

The opening is for an Administrator to support one or two Brokers with all of the administration/support that comes from the business they write.

There will also be some compliance responsibility, so therefore it is important this person has the ability to take on lots of product and regulatory information over the first few months.


The initial main duties include:

  • Ensuring that all client information is stored on the relevant system and it is updated accurately and timely checking that all compliance requirements are met.
  • Providing an effective link between the client and the Broker, ensuring both are kept up to date with all matters relating to the mortgage and related products.
  • Chase up lenders, clients and conveyancers as necessary and ensure updates are documented on the relevant system.

Skills / Experience Required:
For this Administrator role, our client would like some recent administration experience within Financial Services, Banking or Insurance. They do provide training, as you would expect. You must also be positive, professional, a self-starter with exceptional attention to detail and comfortable with MS Office.


Additional Information:
The salary for this Administrator role is £20,000 - £25,000.

The hours are Mon - Fri, 9-5pm if full-time and the client is also open to the possibility of taking on someone on a part-time basis (approx hours per week).

The office is just outside Southampton with parking available.
