Job Introduction

Can you help us provide a safe and hygienic food service for our workers and young children at Lansdowne? This is the job for you if you want to make a difference in the lives of young children, have a flexible mindset, and the capacity to act on your own initiative.

The role will include assisting the preparation, cooking and serving of hot and cold meals and undertaking cleaning of the kitchen and dining area in accordance with agreed schedules/rotas.

Duties will include:

Basic food preparation and service
Catering for dietary requirements
Completing temperature records
Stock rotation
General cleaning duties
Maintaining health and safety records
Serving young children and staff
Cleaning counters and equipment
Setting tables, stowing away deliveries
General washing up, cleaning, and emptying bins

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
