Maintenance Engineer, Bristol, 4 on 4 off£47,500

Multi skilled Maintenance Engineer with an Electrical bias is required to join a fast-growing dynamic company in Bristol.

This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive Maintenance Engineer ideally with experience of working within a FMCG environment to makea difference.


The Maintenance Engineer's role will involve:

  • Carrying out planned maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance (respond to breakdowns) both electrical and mechanical across the FMCG site whilst ensuring all the company procedures and standards are followed
  • Support the delivery of projects
  • Ability to read electrical drawings
  • Fault finding on PLCs and other automated equipment
  • The Maintenance Engineer will work from a CMMS (Computerised maintenance management system) in close collaboration with Production and Engineering to maximise machine efficiency and minimise both machinery breakdowns and production disturbances.
  • The Multi skilled Maintenance Engineer will be involved in continuous improvement programs as a part of a drive to improve machine efficiency and safety.


As the successful Maintenance Engineer, you will have a high standard of electrical knowledge, this will ideally be gained from industries such as FMCG, Packaging, Food or Drink manufacturing.
