Plus:

Overview:
- To assist the Senior Care Coordinator in all aspects of the day to day running of the service ensuring positive outcomes for our clients. To maintain the quality of the service by complying with the company's policies and procedures and by adhering to CQC care standards and requirements.
Main responsibilities:
- To oversee the client and staff journeys (as outlined in the Client and Staff Journeys Document).
- Provide leadership and direction to the organisation
- Ensure compliance to the various CQC, Health and Safety and Employment Law Standards.
- Guide the day to day method of operation.
- Rota writing.
Manage the clients:
- Deal with all elements of daytoday care and liaise with clients and their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of a quality care service. Arrange client reviews to be completed either by the care coordinator or a senior carer to ensure that care meets the needs of the clients that we support.
Manage the Care Team:
- Build and support the care team and manage all elements of staff administration, including but not limited to carer supervisions and appraisals, ensuring that training is scheduled and completed. Lead by example, as both care and office staff are expected to pitch in when required to cover care visits. To undertake oncall duties on a rostered basis.

Communication:
Good written and verbal communication skills. The ability to listen, to follow and understand instructions. Attention to detail.
Thinking style:
A logical and rational approach to resolving problems and making decisions. Ability to use initiative and intuition. Must be flexible and adaptable, covering colleagues when necessary. Drive and motivation are required. Evidence of interest to learn and succeed.
Working with others:
Strong client focus, prioritising client needs and requests. A welcoming and approachable style to clients and team members alike. Empathy is a must.

Understanding older people's needs and a commitment to providing care of the highest quality which promotes people's rights and choices.

Good organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines and plan ahead. Prioritising workload and being able to react to the unexpected calmly and logically.
Qualifications
Educated to GCSE or above
QCF level 3 in Health & Social Care preferred
Experience
Using electronic rota systems
Using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and databases
Working in a similar role or care environment
Care experience is essential
Knowledge
IT literate with knowledge of different types of software
Knowledge of the Health and Social Care Act 2008
Knowledge of CQC fundamental standards
