Consumer Additions are currently partnering with an Exciting Fast Growth Start-up Food Business. They are looking for a Financial Controller to join their team based in Central London.

Key Responsibilities;

  • Finance Control and Reporting provide timely and accurate financial information, analysis, and insight across the global organisation, including income, expenditure, balance sheet & cash flow.
  • Deliver efficient and effective financial processes and controls drive forward the development of financial controls, continually improving systems and ways of working to ensure efficiency and a clean & clear audit trail through all our ledgers.
  • Compliance company secretarial responsibilities, quarterly group VAT returns, stat accounts, & annual audit
  • Cash flow manage 16week cashflow forecast, closely monitor & forecast debtor balances
  • Balance Sheet Control ensure all control accounts are reconciled periodically
  • Leadership and Team Management lead and develop the group finance team by providing coaching and training, clear objectives setting, and regular feedback
  • Day to day management group finance function, ensuring that the business is fully compliant and meeting all external reporting requirements.
  • Ultimate responsibility for the annual audit, preparing statutory accounts, & heavy involvement in preparing internal management accounts.
  • You will oversee accounts payables, receivables & payroll & take responsibility for all banking.
  • You will be the bridge between Finance and the business, helping to implement processes that drive efficiencies, while working closely with our CEO during this exciting period of growth & international expansion.
Key Requirements;

Passionate - we need someone who loves and understands the Deliciously Ella brand, and who has a hard working and flexible approach to work.
You need to be willing to embrace challenges that arise.

Qualified accountant - you will have an accredited professional accountancy qualification and bring with you at least 5-7 years industry experience. You will also have a deep understanding and ability to challenge P&L's, along with knowledge of UKtax.

Experience - proven work experience as financial controller or similar role in SME business.

Systems - you will be a strong excel user and confident in manipulating large amounts of data.
A good understanding of financial systems is essential.

Organisation - this role will require a high level of planning, accuracy and strong attention to detail. You will need to be organised to ensure you are working efficiently to meet deadlines.

Stakeholder Management - it is critical that you have strong people skills to build strong relationships and deliver results.
