Join Aptum Technologies, a global hybrid multi-cloud managed service provider, as a key Windows System Administrator.

Our System Administrators are our experts on all supported products, and we are looking for someone who thrives on helping people, finding solutions and sharing knowledge to bring their expertise to our team.


As part of our team of resident experts you will be responsible for managing incidents and service requests for customer facing infrastructure in a hosted or cloud environment.

This will include monitoring system performance, configuration, maintenance, and repair. Delivering solutions with excellent customer service will be your goal.


Core Competencies/Responsibilities:


  • Possess excellent customer service skills used in customer facing support.
  • Command line and remote administration.
  • Ability to diagnose and repair service issues in a Windows environment (Windows Server,etc)
  • Manage service outages across multiple teams remotely.
  • Management of load balancing, firewalls, routers and proxy services.
  • Support of Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, AWS, VMWare, Percona and/or MariaDB.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • 3+ years' experience in a customer service/facing Windows Administrator role.
  • Windows Certifications
  • Microsoft Azure, VMWare or AWS experience
  • Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining services such as Apache and/or Ngnix
  • Strong TCP/IP, DNS, SSH and SMTP knowledge.
  • Awareness of performance management, SLA compliance and service KPI evaluation is a plus.
  • Solid knowledge of scripting (perl and/or bash).
  • Familiarity with configuring load balancing, firewalls, routers and proxy services.
  • Familiarity of Microsoft Azure Fundamentals
  • Familiarity with setup and configuring VMWare; Percona, MariaDB.
