Twenty4Seven Education is thrilled to be working alongside this incredible primary school located in Caerphilly.

They are looking for a qualified and passionate teaching assistant to work in their year 1 class on a one-to-one basis with additional learning needs.

They are looking for a teaching assistant who will support the pupil in their everyday school life helping them access the curriculum and reach their full potential.

The Role

As a One-to-one Teaching Assistant you will:

  • Work one-to-one with a pupil with additional learning needs
  • Assist the pupil in accessing the curriculum
  • Assist the pupil in making progress academically, socially, and personally
  • Get to know the pupil and learn how to support them further
  • Work with the pupil and teacher to plan and put into action systems to support the pupil
  • Support the classroom teacher and work in small groups completing learning activities set by the teacher
  • Will be caring, enthusiastic, and approachable
  • Will have experience working within an educational setting
  • Will have an understanding of how to support children with SEN
  • Will have a good command of the English language
  • Experience working in a similar role
  • Level 3 Childcare qualification or equivalent

Salary:
£65.00-£75.00 per day


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Caerphilly, Caerphilly: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:


  • Special education: 1 year (preferred)
