The HGV Class 1 drivers usually drive longer routes in waves, ensuring the safe, efficient driving of vehicles from depots to our clients and other sites in the Hermes network.

You'll ensure parcels are collected and delivered safely, paperwork updated andassist depot staff with heavier items from time to time.

Evri know the great British roads and weather don't always play nicely, so you'll need to keep Evri updated with any problems.

Evri can then help find an alternative route.

Evri HGV Class 1 drivers work on shifts. Full-time contracts are 40 hours per week with some weekends. Full time is any 5 shifts out of 7, rotas are given in advance.

Essential Skills & Experience Required:

You'll need a full UK driving licence with HGV Class 1 (Cat C E) entitlements, driver's CPC and digital tachograph.

Newly qualified drivers are welcome; however, all drivers will need to undertake a short driving assessment.
