    Role Overview

    This role will be pivotal in the ongoing success of Crown Records Management in the UK and Ireland.

    The successful candidate will be based in Enfield, with a requirement to visit major sites in London, across the UK and Ireland.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide competent advice, support, and guidance to directors and senior management teams on managing health, safety, environmental, and quality risks.
    • Develop, implement, and manage risk assessments, method statements, and safe systems of work.
    • Develop, implement, and manage Risk and Compliance policies, procedures, and processes.
    • Ensure each business area effectively manages and improves their suite of compliance risks and metrics.
    • Maintain and improve ISO 45001, 9001, 14001, 27001 certifications, feeding into the Crown Integrated Management System.
    • Manage non-conformances using Crown's IOF system.
    • Report and investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, including RIDDOR.
    • Support the implementation of a new integrated accident, incident, near miss, and investigation system within Crown.
    • Facilitate local business specific H&S committee meetings.
    • Plan and carry out audits, inspections, and reviews based on Crown UK&I risk profile.
    • Support the Risk and Compliance Officer in providing information and data for RFP and bid writing.
    • Ensure Crown maintains its suite of certifications and awards such as Safe Contractor, CHAS, ROSPA Gold etc.
    • Provide monthly data-driven dashboards and insights on compliance levels in their area of operations.
    • Ensure local business continuity plans and disaster recovery processes are up to date, relevant, and tested.
    • Support the Risk & Compliance Training Manager in developing and conducting Risk and Compliance Training for Crown UK&I staff and subcontractors/service partners.
    • Contribute, develop, implement, and manage Risk and Compliance communications, initiatives, and projects.

    Requirements

    • Proven experience in a similar role.
    • Risk-focused approach.
    • Team player.
    • Insightful, data-driven, and agile in your approach to complex Risk and Compliance problems.
    • Experience in Business Continuity is a distinct advantage.
    • Ability to build relationships with and influence all levels.
    • Must be able to drive recommendations and influence others using judgment that is consistent with policies, practices, standards, procedures, regulations, and/or law.
    • Excellent organisational, planning, and prioritisation skills.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
    • Ensuring the above is delivered with a customer-focused approach.
    • Experience in delivering Risk and Compliance based training.
    • Proficient in MS Office Suite.
    • Knowledge and experience of using online and app-based H&S management tools such as accident reporting, audit, and testing/inspection tools.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum Tech IOSH membership (or equivalent).
    • DSE Assessor (desirable).
    • Manual Handling Assessor (desirable).
